Plugin implementation for Google docs online

Just finishing my graduate studies and my classmates and I all use Google docs to write our papers/theses because it is online, never to be lost, always to be found. I personally only use MS Word to do the formatting at the end. Would be great to have this implemented as a google plugin/extension for example.

That would be real life saver.
Mendeley should really look into this.

If you’re pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD, you’re either feeling very good or very not-so-good right about now. For some of you, no words of the thesis assistance - https://www.papersbee.com/thesis/ have yet made it onto the page. That’s okay! We’re not here to judge. We’re here to help.

I'm in the same boat. Google Docs is my main drafting arena. Most of my labs use it for early work. Eventually I migrate to latex / mark-up based documents. But, I need a way to integrate reference management (Mendeley FTW!) at the first, Google Docs, stage.

Agreed! Mendeley is my go-to citation manager, but I'm moving away from MS Word to Google Docs and a Mendeley plugin for Docs would be great!

I agree, I am writing a paper now with a collaborator, and we use google docs to edit it simultaneously and avoid conflicting copies. A mendeley plug-in would be great!

This would be a very good addition! In our lab we use Google Docs as well, so we can write the paper simultaneously, so a reference plugin for this would be a really good thing!
